Sour Cherry Crumble
with POM Filling

INGREDIENTS

1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup Coach’s Oats®
1 cup whole wheat flour
¾ cup brown sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
¾ cup 100% POM juice
10 oz. frozen sour cherries
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ Tbsp. cornstarch

PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine walnuts, Coach’s Oats®, flour, ½ cup of brown sugar and spices. Pour melted butter over mixture and stir to coat. Press ½ of the mixture into the bottom of a 9x9” square pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

In a medium saucepan, combine POM juice, cherries, vanilla, cornstarch and remaining brown sugar. Stir together over medium-high heat, just until thickened. Pour over baked crust. Spread the remaining crumble topping over sour cherry mixture. Bake for 20 minutes.

Serve with vanilla ice cream for a truly decadent treat.
