Chewy Chocolate
Granola Bars

INGREDIENTS

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (not quick oats)
1 cup Coach's Oats®
½ cup dried cranberries
½ cup golden raisins
1 cup sliced almonds
½ cup dark chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. whole wheat or all purpose flour
2 Tbsp. butter
¼ cup brown sugar
⅓ cup honey
dash of salt

 

PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 300°. In a saucepan, melt butter, brown sugar, honey and salt together. In a separate bowl combine oats, cranberries, raisins, almonds, chocolate chips and flour. Add honey mixture to dry ingredients and mix well.

In an 8 inch baking dish (lined with parchment paper or foil) spread granola mix. Bake for 30 minutes.
Allow to cool and cut into bars.
